Magickal Bath Tea Recipe Book.

Please make sure you are not allergic to these herbs on your skin.
Adding herbs to the bath is one of the easiest forms of Magic. In essence, a tub of water containing a bath sachet is little more than a huge pot of herb tea in which the bather brews. When herbs are placed in warm water they release their energies as well as their scents and natural colour. As such, baths are powerful tools in gaining psychic awareness, drawing love, speeding healing and granting personal protection.

Making the Sachets
Choose to follow one of the recipes . Each bath mixture may be prepared in advance and saved until needed if kept in an airtight jar. Once you've assembled all the organic ingredients, add them to your mortar. (Remember, your mortar should be made from nonmatalic content) At this stage I also like to call forth my Spirit Guide Epona & Fearie Guide Nobee to help protect me and for their guidance, just adapt to suit you. Ground & Center yourself by visualising strong roots growing into Mother Earth and allowing her white energy to flow up into these roots filling every part of your body, then visualise this powerful energy flowing out of your hands and into your mixed herbs. Now empower them with your Magickal goal. Visualise with your heart as well as your mind with feelings of the achieved outcome. When mixed, place a small handful or so in the center of a large square piece of cheesecloth. Tie up the ends and add this to the bath. To save time in the future, make up several bath sachets. Place them in a jar with a tight fitting lid and store. Make sure the jar does not carry any other energy from its last use, so clean it, place it in the oven for a while, then cleanse it with the white light ritual.

Using the Sachets
Fill the clean tub with warm water. Place the sachet in the tub and let it steep until the water is infused with the fragrance and energy of the herbs. If you don't have a bathtub, or if you simply prefer showers, make up a sachet in a washcloth and scrub your body with this after your normal shower, just before toweling.
As you soak in Mother Earths Magickal bath, feel the energies of the herbs combining with your own. Visualize your Magickal goal manifesting into the Cosmos . Repeat the bath as many times as you feel is necessary. Remember to undo the sachet and empty the contents into the compost bin or sprinkle back into the earth for re-cycling. Never use this sachet more than once. If you wish, burn an appropriate incense and candles in the bathroom while you soak.

I will be adding my fav mixtures to this list, but please feel free to add your own, or maybe, use these mixtures and let us know if they were of benefit to you.

Around forty to fifty million years ago, the Himalayas were formed from the collision of two continental plates, the Indian subcontinent and Eurasia. Prior to this the region was occupied by an extensive sea known as the Tethys. The salt deposits left by the drying Tethys lay buried for millions of years while the energy of the earth formed the major structures of the present day. Because the ancient salt deposits were protected by the molten rock from modern forms of pollution, Himalayan salt is not only completely pure and natural in origin, but also remains so through processing. Unlike most salts, this ancient salt is not processed with harsh chemicals. Instead, it is mined by hand and stone ground. Himalayan salt has no preservatives or additives.

Doctors and alternative therapists agree that Himalayan salt is the cleanest salt available on the planet to deliver remarkable health benefits. Himalayan crystal salt is pristine and natural. It consists of the most perfect geometric structure possible in rock crystals, the result of millions of years of compression under the Earth’s surface. Its has precise mesh with our body's inner workings because Himalayan crystal salt contains an almost identical set of elements to those found inside the human body: that is, 84 of the possible 92 trace minerals, in the same proportion as naturally exists in our blood.

Himalayan crystal salt can be consumed as mineral water by dissolving in spring or energised water, dissolved in a hot bath for a healthy soak, or blended with essential oils for a rich body scrub, you can even put it on your food. All of these things apparently help to maintain the bodies natural balance.
I buy mine in bulk from this wholesaler http://www.ancientwisdom.biz/forms/hsalt/

Hope this helps Mona xxx

What a most magnificient group you created here, Deb! How wonderful. I absolutely love getting ideas, for I make a lot of my own bath salts with essential oils, but am learning how to make them with herbs, also.

*Does anybody know where I could get "bulk" sea salts online for wholesale? I used to get them at a specialty bath and beauty type shop a long time ago, but the shop is no longer there. Are there also anything that I could google to find some good ones in my hometown to find them also? I will do my homework here!
