***The Secred Charmed Garden***

I have created my own "Magickal Crystal Herb Garden" it is split into two sections, A Faerie Healing area & a Protection area. They contain only herbs that I use for those special reasons, healing sachets, healing Incense & teas. The Protection area has been created in a Waning Moon shape and containes herbs that is used for Clearing Incense and Protection spells .

What helps to produce powerful Faerie Medicine, is the vibrations of certain crystals combined with the vibrations of certain herbs, grow these together and you produce potent medicine or Incense's. This is also a long forgotten secret, which I will gladly share with others who are interested.

Witches perform an initiation and protection ritual in their gardens, which is a process of calling upon the forces of the earth and nature to Bless it.

It is then ready to begin. Planting is always guided by the phases of the moon, herbs that are used for their leaves, seeds and flowers are planted during a waxing moon, root crops such as angelica and trees are planted during a waning moon. If you are Reiki Attuned you can place your Reiki symbols over the plants before you place them into the ground. Tumble stones are then buried next to the plants root. The elements cleanse & energise your Gemstones for you.

AVENTURINE: Thyme

AMETHYST: Hyssop, Hazel, Oak, Apple.

CLEAR QUARTZ: Lavender, Damiana, Jasmine.

CARNELIAN (RED): Holly.

CITRINE: Chamomile

EMERALD: Rose, Sandlewood.

FIRE OPAL: Nettle, Red Poppy.

GARNET: Ash.

MALACHITE: Elder, Blackthorn

MOONSTONE: Mugwort, Willow, Dock

OBSIDIAN: Alder

ONYX: Belladonna

PERIDOT: Snowdrop, Heather.

RUBY:Wormwood, Nettle.

SAPPHIRE: Cedar.

TIGER'S EYE: Sunflower, Golden Marjoram

TOPAZ: Birch, Francincense, Holly, Hawthorn.

TOURMALINE: Cinnamon.

TURQUOISE: Lemon balm, Sandlewood, Rose.

Clear Quartz can be added to any other herb. It is the oldest crystal on Mother Earth. I always cleanse, energise and programme Quartz to help my garden to florish, the elements then carry on the job of cleansing &energising the Quartz, I then refresh the programme whenever I attend my plants.

Once your herbs have fully established, you are now ready to cut and gather them. Some Witches use their magickal knife for this, and they always ask the plants permission first. What is really important is the time you cut them, this should also take place with the phases of the moon.

During the waxing moon her energies flow upwards into the stalks, leaves and flowers.

When the moon wanes, her energies flow down into the roots.

So we need to pick them at these peak times, in order to optain the plants at their strongest vibration. Top of the plant which is flowers,leaves or seeds during the waxing moon, (growing from New to Full). Roots and root plants during the Waning moon, (Full to New). Plus they must be picked on a dry day preferably in the evening.

It is also traditional to leave something for Mother Earth and the Faeries as a thank you, this can be crystals, healing energy, or offerings of food.

Remember; if you take seeds, to also sprinkle some back on the floor, if you take plants, do not take more than you need and still leave some undisturbed.

Finally, your Magickal Garden will need a pond which also represents the element of water. My garden is quite small ,so I have filled a large barral with water and added a few plants to it. Water also attracts toads & frogs who are very helpful in keeping down slugs. I have two toads who I have named Jasmick & Toady. They are a Witch's best friend.

Now you have created a perfect enchanted place where you can also place an outside altar, (mine is a Faery Altar. ) you have now brought forth a place from another dimention, filled with magick and nature spirits of all kinds, a place to meditate, dream, visualise and create your heavenly reality here on earth.
